We were all born with the nature of the first Adam, and our descendants have simply passed that on to us with the characteristics of “flesh and blood” creatures prone to being run by our five senses and devolving into ever-present angers, jealousies, fears, unrestrained desires, and ailments of every natures. The good news is we have been offered the free gift of regeneration back to our original “image of God” by choosing to be born again of water and spirit through acceptance of Christ Jesus as out “personal” Savior. We cannot do this on our own, for Christ Jesus tells us “… without me you can do nothing.” (John 15) Praise be to God, the law of the covenant of works is now replaced by the covenant of unmerited grace through Christ Jesus’ appearance here and his manifested resurrection power. The Holy Spirit of Truth’s indwelling presence is given freely to each of us immediately, upon makiing a choice to accept Christ Jesus (the second Adam) as our personal Savior … “for his yoke is easy, and his burden is light.” With brotherly love we exhort you to consider His perfect regeneration of your natures today.
